Der Verkauf von deutschen Kinder- und Jugendbüchern auf dem internationalen Lizenzmarkt ist für die avj-Mitgliedsverlage von großer Bedeutung. Im avj-Rights Guide stellen zahlreiche Mitgliedsverlage aktuelle Titel für den Lizenzverkauf vor: Jedes Buch mit Coverabbildung und einer Inhaltsangabe auf Englisch. Der Katalog erscheint jährlich im Frühjahr zur Internationalen Kinderbuchmesse in Bologna.

The avj does not handle rights inquiries for our member publishers. However, we do publish a collection of highlights from their foreign rights catalogues entitled “New Children’s Books”. This Rights Guide, which you can peruse below, presents the most important current titles from avj members and is an indispensable tool for license sales. Each title is presented with a cover illustration and a synopsis in English. The catalogue is published annually in spring, in time for the Bologna Children’s Book Fair.
